Stone office supplies

George Stone & Sons Ltd. generously donated $50,000 – funding 15 vital signs monitors for Heart Month.

Vital signs monitors connect care teams to their patient’s cardiac health, giving them critical information on a patient’s heart rate (as well as breathing rate and blood pressure). Sault Area Hospital relies on these monitors in almost every department. Keeping this equipment up-to-date is vital to delivering quality care.

George Stone & Sons led the way for Heart Month, generously giving $50,000 to fund the replacement of 15 vital signs monitors. This gift will make a lasting impact by supporting care for so many in the Algoma District.

“We understand how essential these monitors are,” shared Randy Stone, President of George Stone & Sons. “With our gift, we hoped to inspire and challenge other contractors, unions, and businesses to give. Our hospital needs all the help we can muster. We depend on them more than ever, and things have been harder than ever. We’re thrilled to see other industry members that have come on board.” – Randy Stone of George Stone & Sons

As we wrap-up Heart Month, the contributions made by construction organizations, like George Stone & Sons, has helped fund 35 vital signs monitors for Sault Area Hospital.

Thank you to these leaders in our community for supporting our local hospital.

Support upcoming needs today and make outstanding care possible at Sault Area Hospital.
